In-vitro diagnostics for the diagnosis of immunologically caused fertility disorders
Around 50% of all couples suffering from fertility disorders reveal antibodies which are at least partially responsible for the infertility diagnosed. These antibodies may, for example, prevent fertilization of the oocyte. Even in-vitro they clearly cause a reduced fertility rate as well as a reduced pregnancy rate after embryo transfer.
